Common surface treatments for stainless steel coils, including:

Hot rolled: This is the most basic treatment, where the stainless steel coils are heated and then cooled to achieve the desired shape and finish.
Pickling: The coils are immersed in an acidic solution (usually hydrochloric or sulfuric acid) to remove any oxide scale or rust on the surface. This treatment cleans the surface and prepares it for further processing.
Annealing: The coils are heated and then slowly cooled to relieve internal stress and improve the coil's workability. This treatment also enhances the mechanical properties of the stainless steel.
Bright annealing: Similar to annealing, but the coils are cooled rapidly in a controlled atmosphere to obtain a bright surface finish. This treatment removes discoloration or oxidation from the surface and provides a shiny appearance.
Electro-polishing: The coils are immersed in an electrolyte solution and an electric current is passed through them to remove a thin layer of material from the surface. This treatment smoothens the surface and enhances its corrosion resistance.
Brushing or polishing: Mechanical processes are used to scrub the surface of the coils with abrasive materials or brushes to create a smooth and reflective finish. This treatment is often used for decorative purposes.
Coating: Stainless steel coils can be coated with various materials to provide additional protection and improve the aesthetics. Common coatings include zinc, nickel, tin, or organic coatings.
